It’s finally here!! The 85th season of Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival is off to a wonderful start. I had the pleasure of photographing the world-renowned Pilobolus to open the Festival’s 85th season. The Pillow commissioned Pilobolus to create a piece specifically for the Inside/Out stage for the first official night of the festival.
Martina & Jonathan were married at Aurora in Williamsburg. It was a simpler, more relaxed and intimate Brooklyn wedding. That’s something that is so unique about getting married in New York – there are huge, grand, architecturally extravagant venues for 400 people guest lists and there are also beautiful, cozy spaces for smaller weddings. It’s only a matter of finding the right fit for what you want your wedding to be.
Every time I visit a friend or client, the first thing I notice are the photographs they choose to display in their home. The wedding photos that I most often see hanging on a wall or framed on a shelf are beautiful group shots of the entire family together. It brings me joy to see these wedding photos on display, and it serves as a constant reminder that these are truly valued moments in everyone’s lives.
Tamara & Marko were married at Tappan Hill Mansion, one of Abigail Kirsch’s exclusive venues. The couple welcomed me into their special day with open arms. I felt especially connected to them from our fall engagement shoot at Brooklyn Bridge Park, where I first met them and felt their excitement and love for one another.
Dance Against Cancer’s 2017 event had performances by elite dance professionals such as Daniel Ulbricht, Stella Abrera, James Whiteside & more.
