Almost all of the couples who choose me for their wedding photography ask me about doing an engagement session, too. My engagement shoots are fun and low-key. I like to create a relaxed environment where you can be yourself and look your natural best. We make lots of casual photos of the two of you together and usually separate, too.
Rebecca & Jacob celebrated their engagement excitement with a Brooklyn Bridge Park engagement session. The water, the bridges and the New York City skyline make the perfect backdrop for a couple that lives in Brooklyn. =)
I recently asked a bunch of past clients to share with me their favorite photos from their weddings. Their responses were heart-warming.
I recently asked a bunch of past clients to share with me their favorite photos from their weddings. I know what photos I love. And I’m constantly pushing to increase my artistry, tell a story in one photo, find the most dramatic light, choose the moments with the highest energy and emotion. I put tons of pressure on myself to be better and do better at every wedding. What about my clients?
I’m very honored to announce that I’ve been selected as one of WeddingWire’s top 5% of wedding professionals to win their Couples’ Choice Award 2017.
I made engagement photos with Tamara & Marko in DUMBO and Brooklyn Bridge Park. When we started the session, they were both very nervous and I though it was so cute. They said to me, “Just tell us what to do. We’re in your hands.” Once we started making portraits, they got more comfortable and I let them do their own thing – they looked great being natural with each other.
