Being a wedding photographer gives me the unique opportunity to be a part of something bigger. Your wedding is one of the most important and memorable transitions in your life. It’s an honor to record faithfully the story of your day and to preserve those memories for you, your family and future generations.
10+ years of experience as a dance photographer in New York City and for Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival have helped me master the art of photographing fleeting, meaningful moments that happen in the blink-of-an-eye. Unlike any other art form, photography and videography are the only ways to record the experience of dance. There is no score, no canvas, and no repetition. No two moments are ever the same.
You want a wedding photographer who can anticipate and capture these magical, singular moments. Someone who is wholly tuned in to what’s happening — present, but never obtrusive — so your real emotion and natural beauty can emerge. When I photograph dance, I anticipate when the most climactic and special moments are about to happen, so I can capture them in a split second. Those split seconds hold the true essence of the dance, and they hold the true essence of your wedding, too.
Christopher’s presence and experience made us feel calm and secure. We felt like we were in great hands. He listened to our needs and wants, then added his special creative touch.
It’s clear to us that Christopher loves what he does because it shows in his final work. Our wedding was more than we could have ever imagined, and we owe it all to Christopher.
Christopher has an amazing talent and he is the right person to capture those important moments on your wedding day. We love you, Chris.ELIANA & DARYL
At your wedding, you want more than beautiful photos. You want a wedding photographer whose focused anticipation of that perfect moment helps turn a beautiful photo into a story.
I’m always looking to create an easy-flowing, relaxed atmosphere, whether I’m photographing weddings or dance, making formal portraits, or capturing candid moments at events or performances.
More than anyone else, your wedding photographer is responsible for telling the story of your family — a story that will be retold and treasured for generations to come. It’s a delicate and critical role: I’m there to capture the many fleeting moments of a wedding, to record the true essence of that day, and to create a stunning archive of your story.
I don’t take this responsibility lightly.
You and I will be fully in-tune — from the moment we meet to discuss your vision of your wedding, to the moment we photograph the tears in your father’s eyes, or the baby’s breath in your handmade bouquet, or your maid of honor’s laughter during her toast. Your wedding photos will bring you and your family joy for a lifetime and then some.
“Christopher is delightful to work with—relaxed and easygoing, but meticulous about his craft, with a great eye for detail. He’s also a dance photographer, which means that his dance floor photos are AWESOME.”
