Allie & Sarah | The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art

Allie & Sarah were married at The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA), a beautiful museum featuring contemporary visual art and performing arts located in North Adams, Massachusetts.
While I have photographed dance at MASS MoCA in the past, Allie & Sarah’s wedding was the first wedding I photographed at the venue.
It was so cool to be surrounded by such incredible art. There were many, many places to make portraits. It would be a dream to shoot more weddings there!

Floral design for Allie & Sarah’s wedding was created by Crocus of Crocus Hale Flowers, who I’ve worked with on countless Berkshire weddings.
Crocus designed the most beautiful, simple chuppah for Allie & Sarah. Her work is always so unique. It’s really clear that a lot of attention to detail goes into the designs she creates.
The reception space was set up with two long tables which Crocus installed hanging designs over.

The evening was filled with beautiful speeches and lots of dancing. It was so nice to see Allie & Sarah’s loved ones celebrate their marriage. What I loved the most about Allie & Sarah’s wedding is that they specifically chose to get married at MASS MoCA to be surrounded by art and to give their money to the arts, not just a random venue space.
CONGRATULATIONS, ALLIE & SARAH!
