Catherine & Edward’s Tappan Hill Wedding Portraits

I’m excited to share Catherine & Edward’s Tappan Hill wedding portraits from their October wedding at the Abigail Kirsch exclusive venue.
Catherine & Edward are the type of clients that I really enjoy working with. They were relaxed, trusting, and comfortable with being in front of the camera. Making portraits with them was so much fun. It was really wonderful seeing them have the best day of their lives.

THERE WERE A FEW KEY MOMENTS THAT HAPPENED THROUGHOUT THE DAY THAT MADE IT EXTRA MEMORABLE FOR ME:
- Moments after Catherine put on her wedding dress, her sister, who is blind, said “Catherine, come here and let me see your dress.” With tears in my eyes, I witnessed the most intimate of wedding moments….Catherine’s sister lifted her hands to feel the lace and satin fabric. Her hands ran over the dress so she could see it. A beautiful moment I’ll never forget.
- Catherine’s niece, the flower girl, had the time of her LIFE!! She was seemingly shy, but as soon as she loved getting her photo taken and she couldn’t stop dancing. Flower girls are always fun to photograph, but this one stole my heart!
- Catherine’s veil was a show stopper! And we had fun being creative and making portraits with it.
- Damselfly Flowers designed all of the gorgeous floral arrangements. I’ve worked with Damselfly before, and their team always creates something special. I loved the different shades of purple hues for Catherine & Edward’s wedding – such a perfect color palette for an early fall wedding.
Congratulations, Catherine & Edward!
