Gedney Farm Wedding Photos
Hannah & Jason were married at Gedney Farm in the Berkshires – one of my favorite places to photograph a wedding.
Gedney Farm can also host rehearsal dinners for their couples. They have guest rooms at the venue – enough to fit the family and wedding party. Having the rehearsal dinner and the wedding in one space creates a relaxed vibe for the whole wedding weekend, and so many of my clients love that. Nel and I did the same thing for our own wedding at Seven Hills Inn. It sets the pace and gives people more time to hang out together and have fun.
The rehearsal dinner was really wonderful for me to be a part of at Hannah & Jason’s wedding. I think it’s a bonus for them, too. Having me photograph the rehearsal dinner sets us up for success on the wedding day itself, because I get to meet friends and family before the wedding and they have time to feel more comfortable with me and my camera.
The rehearsal dinner flowed easily into the wedding day, and it was wonderful to see how close Hannah & Jason are with their family and friends and how instrumental their friends were in the wedding itself.
This was the kind of wedding that I love the most – where the most important part of the day is the marriage. And everyone there shows their love, support and friendship around that. It just touched me over and over again how much love there was amongst Hannah & Jason’s family and friends.
