Jamie & Garland’s Texas wedding was really fun.
I’ve known the bride since my first year working at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. Jamie was an intern at the Pillow and worked two more summers after that. I was so happy she brought my team to Texas for the wedding, because there is always a warm and friendly feeling when you’re photographing for a friend.

The wedding was beautiful and the whole weekend was so much fun.

They had a war canoe race on Sunday, which was awesome. Each team wore matching shorts – green team, red team.

They practiced in their canoes, and they each had a team chant. All of the guys in the race thought that it was the greatest gift Jamie & Garland could give them – to re-live the glory days of war canoe races from camp. You can tell they all have a lot of great times together. I love that.

My cinematography team brought a drone to fly and capture wedding weekend footage as a bonus, and they thought it was the coolest. (We do, too!)
