Kathy & Rusty | The Mount Wedding Photos in the Berkshires
Kathy & Rusty were married at The Mount in the Berkshires, one of my all-time favorite wedding venues. Some of her wedding vendors are part of the Berkshire Wedding Collective, a wonderful team of wedding professionals I’m a member of in the Berkshires, led by Tara Consolati. All the design and creative for the wedding was by the bride herself and Tara acted as day-of coordinator. Beautiful flowers were created by Crocus Hale.
Kathy booked me just a few weeks before the wedding. She told me that she’s an expert at closing deals on tight timelines and that the time pressure was not a challenge for her. I liked her immediately.
Kathy was super fun in the planning and sent lots of images of herself in her two different wedding dresses. She wore an Oscar de la Renta dress during the wedding ceremony and a Lanvin for the end of cocktails and the reception. I didn’t know she would have a third dress (for dancing) until the morning of the wedding.
The Mount is a wonderland for photography. Each time I photograph a wedding there I’m challenged to use the space in new ways. And each time I find new nooks of gorgeous detail and inspiration.
Kathy grew up in the Berkshires and dreamed of getting married at The Mount. I’m so glad she did. = )
