Jordana & Gary had a Liberty Warehouse wedding in Brooklyn, New York.
My Creative team and I have photographed a couple weddings here before (Melissa & Cory, Danielle & Marko) and it is absolutely breathtaking each time we do. The views are incredible. It is such a romantic venue.
It was a perfect day for an outdoor wedding. I was excited to explore the venue and take photos at different places I haven’t made portraits at before.
Someone said at the wedding “never waste an opportunity to wear a crown.” Jordana got this crown from Australia days before the ceremony and she TOTALLY ROCKED IT!
Jordana & Gary are both music lovers and knew exactly what they wanted for music at their wedding. The live band played them into the ceremony and half way down the aisle, Jordana stopped, the musicians stopped, and the band ripped into “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses. It was perfect.
This was my first wedding with Soraya Jollon of SORAYA Weddings. She’s fabulous. We did a Berkshire styled shoot together that was featured on Wedding Lovely last summer. It was super exciting to work with her because I admire her work and her personal style. We have a shared love of the Berkshires and Soraya is my personal hero – she has 4 kids!
It was also my first time working with Tin Can Studios. They designed all of the beautiful floral arrangements along with the hanging garden chandelier over the head table. It was unlike anything I have ever seen. It was luscious, abundant, overflowing… everyone was in awe of it. There was something so romantic and intimate about it.
