Berkshire Wedding Photos at Gedney Farm | Mary & Todd

Mary & Todd were married at Gedney Farm, and I’m thrilled to share their beautiful Berkshire wedding photos. It rained, so the ceremony was inside, but a Gedney Farm wedding is beautiful rain or shine! They didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, so we snuck a few portraits in between cocktails and dinner. The rain had stopped, and we were able to do them outside.

Flower Blossom Farm designed all of the floral arrangements for Mary & Todd’s wedding. This was my first time photographing a wedding with their designs. They were beautiful.

When I first arrived, Todd was wearing a Grateful Dead t-shirt, so I felt an instant kinship with him. I used to be a big Grateful Dead fan. During the reception, the band, Richard James and The Name Changers played some Grateful Dead covers including “Shakedown Street.” I had our wedding band play a couple Grateful Dead covers, too, so I loved it. They were great.

One of my favorite parts of photographing weddings is watching how much joy is in each family. I loved seeing Mary & Todd’s families smiling, laughing and having fun. Everyone was sweet and caring and supportive.
