Melissa & Cory were married at The Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn. What a great spot with views of the harbor and Lower Manhattan. The day was beautiful, and totally seamless. One of those weddings where you are five minutes a head of schedule all day.
Cory works for an event design company, and he did the lighting design at his wedding. And this is the 2nd wedding we photographed this April with gorgeous flowers by Konstantinos Floral Design and Decor Group.
Whitney Browne on my Creative Team was lead photographer for Melissa & Cory’s wedding. Whitney is wonderful to work with in every way, and her second photographer for this wedding, Travis Magee, worked really well with her. They were a great team.
Congratulations, Melissa & Cory!!
Melissa had two dresses. Her first wedding dress was a beautiful and flattering lace gown, and then she changed to a shorter party dress – she said she needed to change, because she wanted to dance, and dance she did! Her first dance with Cory was choreographed and almost a little hip-hop in style. The father-daughter dance turned into a family choreographed number to Uptown Funk!
Melissa & Cory had such a warm family, and there was a special dance at the end where everyone came to kiss the parents. There is just a very pure, simple love between them, and it was a perfect day.
