Alexis & Pat | Micro-Wedding in Jersey City, New Jersey
Alexis and Pat were married at St. Aedan’s, the St. Peter’s University Church. Their micro-wedding in New Jersey was not something they had originally planned, but their desire to get married outweighed the obstacles of the pandemic.
I made engagement portraits with Alexis and Pat in June of 2020. Back then, they had an entirely different wedding plan.
After having the plan and replan their wedding 3 times, including changing the state twice, my heart went out to them and was relived when they told me that they were moving forward with a micro-wedding in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Prior to their micro-wedding, Alexis and Pat had asked their friends, family and limited guests to get a COVID test to ensure everyone was negative and safe.
Everyone wore a mask at all times. Alexis even kept the windows open at her house as she and the bridesmaids were getting ready.

All of this is really just a testament to their desire to be married and their perseverance to endure it all.
Congratulations, Alexis & Pat. Your wedding was beautiful and I can’t wait to photograph your full reception next January!
