Pier A Harbor House Wedding

Pier A Harbor House Wedding | Lori & Stu

by | May 23, 2019 | Wedding

Lori & Stu are full of life and love, and they surrounded themselves at their Pier A Harbor House wedding with incredibly warm and loving family and friends

Stu is a firefighter in California with very close relationships with many of the firefighters in NYC. They were married on the Three Forty Three Fireboat, which is the largest single purpose fireboat built to date with the highest pumping capacity of any fireboat ever built.

It was commissioned exactly nine years after 9/11, and was named “Three Forty Three” in honor of the 343 firefighters who lost their lives during the attack.

After the ceremony, the Three Forty Three pulled right up to the dock at Pier A and all the guests disembarked right into the reception.  The NYFD Emerald Society Fife & Drum corp played for the on the boat and on the dock at Pier A, too.

The whole experience was unique, truly once in a lifetime.

Something I learned while photographing Lori & Stu’s wedding was that their wedding date marked the 15th anniversary of the first time they met.

Their friend Danny was an honored guest at the wedding. It was Danny’s birthday and they met at his birthday party 15 years ago. Love it! = )

Congratulations, again, Lori & Stu!
