Favorite Moments: Our Clients Choose The Wedding Photos They Love Best
I recently asked several of my past clients to share with me their favorite photos from their weddings.
Seeing their favorite wedding photos has helped me re-focus on what’s most important.
A sister’s toast.
A walk down the aisle with Dad.
A quiet moment alone in her dress before the ceremony.
Those moments are most important to my clients. Those moments are most important to me.

There is one of my father walking me down the aisle and Garland looking at me longingly in the distance. This is my computer desktop picture and one I have blown up in the living room. To be quite honest, this literally is my favorite shot. It has the beautiful chapel, my father and I arm in arm and my future husband waiting in the distance. All of the colors combine to make the most beautiful shot. I know you said don’t think… but I did, and as soon as I closed my browser, my favorite shot was staring me in the face. It does everyday. It’s just too beautiful for words.
My mom and I kissing while we are both getting ready. She was crying because I gave her a gift. I think it shows true emotion of the day and a sweet moment of mother and daughter.

My favorite photo from the wedding is the one of the three of us from behind with Sage holding both of our hands. It’s natural, spontaneous, an unexpected perspective, and captures the purpose of the day – creating a new family. My mother thinks you should be submitting it to wedding magazines.
My favorite was from the first look, which was my favorite part of the day – I am so glad that we did that. It also reminds me of that little nook on my parent’s porch where we took most of the pre-ceremony pictures because of the rain. It was not a place I envisioned taking my photos with our scenic backyard, but it turned out to be such a sweet spot.
We were SO happy that day – and this picture embodies that in the simplest way for me. And I think captures the feeling of the day better than any more beautiful scenic shot in some ways.

I love this picture because it captures our love and it looks like it can be in a magazine. I love the black and white.
We both love this picture. When I see it I remember something my father said about it. He said it’s a beautiful picture that shows just how happy we are. We couldn’t agree more. It’s candid and it’s genuine. Emotions are conveyed through pictures and it brings us right back to that feeling of happiness, not just in that moment, but throughout that entire day!
