Feeling very grateful to win the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award for 2021!
I take pride in having built my business on artistic excellence. I’ve always been determined to be the best photographer I can be. The wheels of my mind are constantly turning with ideas on how I can create richer photos for my clients.
But… this pandemic rocked my business to its core. For months, I didn’t focus on photography or art. I was home, not behind-the-camera, and all I could do was focus on keeping in communication with my clients.
Through this shift, I saw my relationship to my business transform. Instead of measuring my worth on my art or achievements, I found satisfaction in making deeper relationships with my clients.
And now this feels even more important to me: WeddingWire’s Couples’ Choice Award for 2021.
Winners of this award are selected based on 5-star client reviews and heartfelt testimonials.
And while it’s always amazing to hear that my clients love their pictures, it’s even more meaningful to hear a client reflect about the way we made pictures together.
A lot of the feedback I’ve received from my clients this year mentions things like patience, kindness and calmness. These are some of my biggest core values as a person, a wedding photographer and a business owner.
THAT is what put the biggest smile on my face when I heard this year’s WeddingWire news.
